Q.How do I know when pin codes are released?

A: National Service Scheme will issue a press statement on the release of pin codes, date for registration and the process of registration.

Q. How do I check for my pin code?

A: Kindly visit  portal.nss.gov.gh and Click on Check and Pay for Pin Code and then key in Index number and Date of birth. 

Q.How do I pay for the Pin Code?

A.Payment  of  GHC40 can be done at any ADB branch or pay GHC41 via MTN MoMo.

Q. I have paid for the pin code but I still cannot proceed with the registration. 

A: Kindly wait for a while and refresh the page. If the issue still persists, kindly create a ticket with your index number, full name and the proof of payment for further assistance.

Q. I can’t access my pin code. What should I do?

A: Kindly check from your school if your details were submitted to the scheme. 

If your details were not submitted, kindly insist they are sent by the school. 

Also, you can individually apply for your pin code if your institution did not submit your details. 

Documents needed for application of pin code:

• A letter requesting for a pin code

• A copy of school certificate or transcripts

• A valid School ID and/or national ID

If you however confirm that your details were submitted by your school,  kindly create a ticket and attach your index number and a picture of valid national ID for further assistance.

Q. What do I do when my pin code is rejected after payment?

A: Keep trying the registration process. If attempts prove unsuccessful after 24 hrs, kindly report the issue to the nss support .
